Handling and cooking Cape Grim vacuum packed beef 

  • Your beef will last in a regular fridge for up to three months as long as it vacuum sealed. If any gas bubbles start to appear, it is best to eat the beef asap. 
  • You should be able to cut at least 12-14 steaks from each striploin. Use them for a BBQ or freeze them for use later on. 
  • Make sure you use a sharp knife and always with adult supervision. 
  • Cut your steaks at around 3cm width to ensure a good eating experience.
  • Remember to bring the beef up to room temperature before cooking.
